With many changes in local government requirements and architectural specifications for flat roofing, CYB Glass Fibre Technology can offer you a chance to understand the versatility of fibreglass through hands on practical experience and tuition on our one day Flat Roofing Workshop.

A Seamless, fibreglass system totally eliminates all of the shortcomings of traditional felt and bitumen materials and achieves the standards required for the new Building Regulations and Code of Sustainable Housing.

Our Workshop is designed to give existing roofing contractors or builders the opportunity to learn how to safely and effectively work with Fibre Glass and to apply this to a Fibre Glass Flat roofing system. It includes Health and Safety aspects, mixing ratios, application techniques, repairs and much more.

Attending our workshop gives you, the contractor a chance to meet our team, see our factory premises as well as being able to buy GRP materials at very competitive prices. We are more than happy to give all contractors that have attended our workshop one of our “trade passes” entitling you to buy materials from our trade catalogue.

Affiliation Scheme

As a major supplier of GRP materials with an effective website and almost 50 years of experience, CYB are often the first port of call when businesses or private customers require advice or supplies.

Our office receives hundreds of enquiries including many clients asking for contractor recommendations or asking if we at CYB can carry out site based work.

At present CYB have a handful of local contractors that carry out work on their behalf but turn away many prospective customers due to lack of ‘good’ GRP contractors countrywide. We are currently looking to extend this database and use our workshops as an effective way to look at your capabilities as well as the chance to meet you and to talk about areas that you are happy to cover. All we ask in return is that you purchase your materials from CYB.

Once affiliated to ourselves we are more than happy to be on hand for troubleshooting and technical support at all times. Our technical support team have over 40 years of experience in the GRP industry and hold a wealth of knowledge.

The cost of our One Day Specialist Roofing Workshop is £350 plus VAT.
